This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition 'CY TWOMBLY: CORONATION OF SESOSTRIS', Gagosian Gallery, New York (November 11 2000 - January 27, 2001). The book includes a collection of photographs of Cy Twombly artwork courtesy of Robert McKeever and Nicola Del Roscio's archive. The book also includes an essay by David Shapiro titled 'Some Notes Toward Twombly', and two poems, one by David Shapiro titled, 'An Early Egyptian Ship' 1984 and the second by Patricia Waters 'Untitled Poem' 1996.
